HAGAKURE Riron has posted a
huge collection of links to pics, movies, summaries, and everything else on the Matrix In Tokyo Final event
that went down yesterday. Andrew Vestal of
yukihime also posted some pics in his June 29th journal entry. Looks like everyone had a blast.

I just beat Viewtiful Joe. Clear time was nine hours. This is the best platforming game I have played in a LONG
time. It's like Devil May Cry with 2D gameplay and oodles of extra awesomeness thrown in--not to mention it's actually
challenging, unlike a lot of other games these days. Replay value is high as well, with quite a few unlockables. If you
have a Gamecube and are able to play imports, GET THIS DAMN GAME!

GAME Watch has posted an
article on the new systems used in the PS2 Y's I&II Eternal Story remake.
Looks great. Y's fans really have something to smile about with this and Y's VI on the way.

Komugi rocks. There's a hot picture of her in the Special section of the game's web site. ;P

Cave is running a
prize campaign for it's new shooter they have in the works, ESPGALUDA (postcard's a little hard to read, maybe a C
instead of a G). Entry forms are being distributed at local game centers around Japan. One lucky winner will win the actual
game, 10 others will win posters for the game, and 100 others will win an original clock. The campaign entry deadline is September
30th. From:
Namae no Nai Heya
Incidentally, the OSTs to Daioujou and Ketsui came out yesterday.
Man I didn't even know Cave was making a new game. This is great.

Square Enix updated their
Drag-On Dragoon web site with a promotion movie that's available for download in the "Special"
section. From:
QUITER
I don't know if the movie is brand new or not as I haven't been keeping up with this game very much. I thought it was just
going to be another rail shooter, but after viewing this movie it seems to be a mixture of quite a few different gameplay
elements. My interest has hightened.
Viewtiful Joe is kickin' my ass. I love it.

Only 13 episodes in and
Kaleido Star is already getting a new OP and ED song starting next week. The new OP is by
Yonekura Chihiro and is titled "Yakusoku no Basho e." The new ED is by
SOPHIA and is
called "Boku wa Koko ni Iru." From:
MOON PHASE
I don't watch Kaleido Star; just thought this was a little weird...
I like Chihiro though. ;)

QUITER has posted a couple
new screenshots of
PS2's supposed answer to Halo, Killzone. There's also some links provided on the page if you need to get caught up.
I got
Viewtiful Joe today. What a game. Pretty tough too. Here's hoping I don't beat it within the next day if you catch
my drift.

There's some
new screenshots of the second DBZ Budokai game over at
gamesradar.com. Even though I'm confident it'll play like
crap, I think the cel shading fits rather nicely.
Silent Hill 3 got 9,8,8,8 in the latest Famitsu, not bad. I'd give it a hearty 8 as well. Very nice and creepy game, just a
bit too short and easy.
R-Type Final on the other hand is a bit too short and hard! Well ok, I don't know if it's short, cause I've only made it
to the third level, but it's definitely hard. Must...play...more...

The upcoming issue of Arcadia is said to have an article about PSYVARIAR 2 (tentative name), the sequel to 1999's cool but
not real cool
PSYVARIAR. Whether or
not it'll be ported to PS2 like the first game remains to be seen. From:
Namae no Nai Heya
More great news for shooter fans. The world can never have enough shmups.

The latest Dorimaga magazine says
BORDER DOWN is
coming to Dreamcast! It's scheduled for release on September 25th. The regular edition will be 6800yen, while the limited
edition with pack in soundtrack will go for 8800yen. New modes featured are a remix mode and a practice
mode. From:
2ch
I haven't read too many good things about this game, but it's still good news for Dreamcast fans, and shooter fans in
general.

Changed the site design to something even more plain. Comments and Favorites aren't up yet, everything else is fine.
