Episodes 6 and 7 are up. All the episodes from the first tankoubon are now done! Finally! Doesn't mean I'm going to stop though. I'm about 40% done with episodes 8-12, so expect those in like, a year or two. I kid, I kid.

Negima anime

MOON PHASE reports that a short anime based on Ken Akamatsu's manga Mahou Sensei Negima will be made and shown at an event next April. The director of the project will be Hiroshi Nishikiori (Azumanga Daioh). Negi will be voiced by Rina Satou. The rest of the cast can be found here. If the event showing is a success, a television series will most likely be made.

Relaxin'

Updates will probably be a little scarce the next two weeks, as I'm spending time with my family for Christmas & New Years. I did want to rant about something real quick though...from the new Street Fighter Tribute album. Yuzo Koshiro! You butchered Bison's music! This was the only remix I was really looking forward to on this album (my fav SF2 track), and I get crappy vanilla TECHNO. Arrrrgh.

This ugly and beautiful world

The official site for GAINAX's upcoming anime Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai (Konomini for short) is now open. I am pleased with the girl to guy ratio in this show so far.

To Heart

I liked To Heart, so I'll report on some To Heart 2 stuff here:
- For PS2.
- As Zepy said yesterday, it's been delayed. Comes out next summer now instead of spring.
- Eight brand new girlies.
- Artists Misato Mitsumi, Amatsuyu Tatsuki, Kawata Hisashi, and Nakamura Takeshi did two girlie designs each.
- Takes place at the same town and same school as the first game, only two years later.
- Characters from the first game are likely to appear.
- The system is basically unchanged.
- New OP&ED vocal songs.

MOON PHASE has scanned an article featuring all the girls. Manaka and Tamaki are the best~

Chrno Crusade (3)

Looks like one of Bart Simpson's old faces from the first season.

I wish they would zoom in on those chibi Rosettes.

This was a fun episode. Rosette in hot 'n sexy clothes = good, and Asmaria was very moe. Can't say I agree with the choice of her VA though. Good thing her moeness overpowers it!

Exploding Angels

The official site for Bakuretsu Tenshi is now open. I'm all for the girls and guns, but 3DCG Mecha scares me.

Midori no Hibi

Kazurou Inoue's manga series Midori no Hibi will be made into an anime come April next year. MOON PHASE has scanned the article with the announcement. Here's the cast so far:

RO Anime

They're making a Ragnarok Online anime. It'll start in Spring of next year. G&G Entertainment and Gonzo will be handling the animation. Other staff info can be found at the link (doesn't really feature any big names).

You know, aside from Rosette, nothing else in this show really holds my interest. I enjoy reading the manga, but for some reason the anime just doesn't give me the same...enjoyment. Whatever; Tomoko is there so I'll keep watching anyway.

Hororin would make an excellent traffic cop.

The girls learn about New Year traditions and parody old ppl J-drama in the process - funny stuff. By the way, Mizuki Nana (Kururu) released a new album on Thanksgiving called DREAM SKIPPER. It's pretty good, thanks to her excellent singing voice.

Looks like Hare from Hare Nochi Goo. Kaname looks 10x scarier though...
