Yup, still awesome. And Ayaka Saitou does Ayunosuke's voice! Great casting there.

Yankumi talks like yakuza nearly the entire ep and her students (sans pretty-boy) still don't suspect anything. She shouldn't even try to disguise her real personality!

Lilica joins the team. She's cute! I wasn't expecting her to be an airhead though. She looked more like a toughie in previous screenshots.

Lots of Scarlet, so this ep was very watchable. Oh yeah, according to the official site, there -is- an OP, but I think it might be DVD exclusive, because none of the TV encodes I've seen have it. You can download a sample of the song here. It's a typical sentai-ish song, but sung rather poorly, so we're not missing out on much...

Good! Funny too, considering the first ep had like zero humor. I'm totally past the weird character art in this show now. Personalities and voice acting have once again saved the day.

More emphasis on the "futari" than "ecchi" in this one if you catch my drift. Doesn't matter to me though - I watch for hentai-voice Kawakami alone~
The official site for the anime is now open.

Freasha is becoming more and more likeable every ep! I love this show! Hope it keeps up this momentum all the way through.

The kids are already starting to lighten up on the teach. Is this show 13 episodes or what? Things are moving kind of quickly. Not that I'm complaining or anything - it's all good.

This would be so much easier to watch if Rio had better hair! It looks goofy as hell, especially when she's wearing that cop uniform with the little hat, or even when she's wearing nothing at all. I can't take her nudity seriously!

For an eight episode/ten minute series, these eps are kind of drawn out. I think the main point of this ep could have been expressed in five minutes, which would have left the other five for more main points! Showing other cos prayers fighting is cool eye-candy, but in the end pretty unneccessary, at least this early in the show. And come on, no OP song?! *kusukusu*
The main cast for GONZO's upcoming anime Bakuretsu Tenshi has been announced. So far not a guy in sight! Woohoo!
- Jou: Akeno Watanabe (Robin in Witch Hunter Robin)
- Megu: Megumi Toyoguchi (Parfet in VANDREAD)
- Eimii: Mikako Takahashi (Kasumi in Hand Maid May)
- Sei: Rie Tanaka (Chii in Chobits)

Every show I'm watching right now has a female lead! I love it! Anyway, this show was surprisingly cool. I was initially turned off by the chara design (especially their hair styles and eyes), but by the time I got to the end of the ep I was only thinking about what's going to happen next! Evil Japanese and their cliffhanging anime. I'm such a sucker for cliffhangers.

Jubei was so cute in this episode! I love her punipuni look in this series. And no, Horie -doesn't- sound much like Hiroko after all, but I still think she's a great replacement! So nya!

Aw, stupid police just -had- to interrupt Shin vs Kumiko. I hope they at least fight at some point. So she can kick his pretty-boy ass.

I'm not really feeling the new look of this series. And it doesn't help that the animation is Studio Fantasia quality (ie: below average). However, I do like the characters that have been introduced so far - well, their personalities at least - so I'm going to keep watching despite my gripes...

This was pretty decent. I like all the characters (especially Scarlet) and the fanservice wasn't as over-done as I thought it would be, except maybe in the hot ED animation, which is accompanied by an awesome early 90-ish sounding song (by Ayano Ahane). This ep didn't have an OP song but I hope it'll be at the same level of awesomeness~

Love! All the craziness from the original and then some. It's sad to lose Hiroko as Jubei but I think Horie fills the role just fine - they almost sound identical. Shouldn't have let her sing the ED song though, ouch.
The BURN-UP SCRAMBLE official site got a much needed design overhaul.

I don't know why, but I'm attracted to ugly looking anime with cool heroines. So I like this show, a lot - and look forward to where it goes since I haven't touched the manga or tv drama.
TV Tokyo's site for Jubei-chan 2 is now open. The show airs tomorrow! Yay~

What better way to start my anime watching back-log than with ROD. These eps were jam packed with DRAMA and SUSPENSE (more of the former)! And ep 18 featured mind-blowing budget-cutting animation! YES!
What he said.
