Grenadier ~Hohoemi no Senshi~ (2)

Rushuna begins her first multi-ep battle against an evil "teenage" king. For a show that's supposed to be so action oriented, these action scenes leave a LOT to be desired. They're even using stock footage for the boobie reload already! As annoying as it is though, none of it makes Rushuna any less awesome or any less a freakin' hottie, so it's all good.

Mai-HiME (4)

An Orphan runs around school stealing all the girls' underwear. Natsuki eventually gets fed up with the situation and decides to take matters into her own hands. This episode made me a fan of Natsuki pretty quickly, especially after she chumped the hell out of Nagi with her bubble pistol.

School Rumble (3)

Tenma and Harima do the usual and the girlfriends get more screentime. I still don't particularly like any of them. None can compare to samurai show loving Tenma!

Sunabouzu (3)

Lots of funny. Lots of Junko. Can't go wrong with that combination.

Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE- (3)

( changes in the OP animation so far ) ( eiffel eyecatch )

Wow. The dialogue, music, and direction were just awesome in this episode - I enjoyed it immensely. This easily tops everything I've watched so far this Fall(not that that's hard to do). Spiritual magic crap aside, I'm very excited now to see how the rest of the series plays out.

Genshiken (2)

After trying to get the most out of Kousaka and failing miserably, Saki has a roundtable discussion with the gang about his hobby. Funny stuff. This time the actual Genshiken OP sequence and song were used instead of Kujian. Kanako's in it, and she's very cute.

Ryuusei Sentai Musumet (3)

Possibly the worst "beach" episode I've ever seen in an anime. The things I do for sentai...

Elfen Lied (11-13)

After a lot of death and destruction - mostly thanks to Mariko the wheelchair baron(voiced very evilishly by Tomoko Kawakami) - things are finally back to normal at the Kouta funhouse. My interest in this series had been decreasing pretty quickly since they started all the flashback stuff in the second half, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed these final few episodes, in all their sappy glory.

Uta Kata (3)

The girls take a trip to the beach. A bitter but not so bitter old friend of Ichika's causes the duo to use another notch on the charm. We also learn a bit about Satsuki's apparently troubled past, though whether or not it'll come up again is anyone's guess. What am I saying, of course it will.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha (3)

A jewel seed makes a few gigantic trees grow in the middle of Nanoha's ghost city(where the hell is everybody in this place!?), causing much destruction of city property. Nanoha seals the seed, then gets bummed out because she had a chance earlier in the day to stop the mayhem before it started. Don't worry stupid girl, the city will fix itself by next episode. And next episode is also when Nana Mizuki's character appears! She better be cool.

Kannaduki no Miko (3)

Himeko moves in with Chikane at her Hanaukyou Maid-tai mansion and they try to get back to a normal school life. Loli Trash comes later to put a dent in their plans, but Souma isn't having that. There were quite a few unintentionally funny scenes in this episode. I was pleased.

Mai-HiME (3)

Mai summons her extremely huge CHILD to blow away the ORPHAN, learns the real reason why she was brought to the island, then gives Mikoto a bath. I wish when her CHILD blew away half the island it took that idiot Nagi along with it. I hate Akira Ishida!

Grenadier ~Hohoemi no Senshi~ (1)

Aside from the main character Rushuna being a happy, ditzy, large chested, bath loving, hip shaking, boobie reloading, gunslinging hottie, this had a very cut and dry action adventure show feel complete with only moderate production values. But I could care less since Rushuna is a happy, ditzy, large chested, bath loving, hip shaking, boobie reloading, gunslinging hottie.

School Rumble (2)

An episode description that I'm sure I'll be typing many many more times for this show: Tenma and Harima act stupid, comedy ensues, I laugh. The other characters did absolutely nothing again, and then they introduce MORE of them. Why bother!

Sunabouzu (2)

Sunabouzu and new guy Amagumo get conned by a father and daughter couple. Amagumo was voiced by Norio Wakamoto, who's still using his Onsokumaru speech mannerisms, much to my delight. And on an interesting note, the village elder was voiced by singer Akira Kushida. I believe this is his first time actually voicing someone in an anime. He did fine, of course. Before he left he even cranked out a couple jingles for Sunabouzu and Amagumo. Very cool.

Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE- (2)

Haduki fails to make Kouhei her slave but he sets her free anyway. She thanks him by moving in with him. I think that's quite acceptable, but Kouhei doesn't because he's an idiot.

Genshiken (1)

I've only read a few chapters of the manga so the majority of this will be fresh to me. Having said that, I really enjoyed this first episode. The art, animation, music(what little it had) and voices were all excellent, and it had a very quiet and laid back atmosphere, which I wasn't expecting. I also liked how they blended Kujibiki Unbalance into the ep, though it won't be getting much airtime that way. I don't want to wait for the DVDs to see more of the drunk meganekko~

Ryuusei Sentai Musumet (2)

The girls battle against Wire Sponge for the sake of the local forest. This was mildly better than the first episode, but it still has a ways to go before I consider it cool. At the moment it feels more like mahou shoujo than sentai. I did see from the OP animation that they're going to have a giant robot though. That's definitely a step in the right direction.
