Kanako~! Jam Kanako~! As expected, Ayako Kawasumi uses her happy voice since Kanako's a happy chara. And while I don't approve, I'll gladly put up with it since Kanako's awesome.

Satsuki meets an old classmate at the fireworks display, who she thought was interested in her. But the guy likes boobs over whatever Satsuki has and secretly goes after airhead Keiko instead, crushing Satsuki's feelings after she catches them in the act. What a depressing episode. I hope Keiko and Michiru get picked on at some point, it just wouldn't be fair to Satsuki otherwise.

Souma beats his *gasp* brother Tsubasa! Chikane almost kisses Himeko again! Exciting!

Everything was going great until the fruity teacher opened his mouth and Akira Ishida's voice came out. But I think I'll be able to manage, as genki kansaiben Mikan(VA Kana Ueda) and deadpan Hotaru(VA Rie Kugimiya) are good characters and are very fun to watch, be it together or alone. The two also sing the ED song, which I have to say is my favorite for this season.

This didn't even need the fanservice to be a good episode(did I just say that?). All it needed was Arf! More "fighting" with Fate didn't hurt either. Now why couldn't ferret boy be a hot chick? The show would be so much better. Anyway, everyone's faces were drawn extra wide this time, I don't know why. As usual the animators were different from previous eps but the art supervisor, who's usually the deciding factor for chara designs in an episode, was the same. Maybe he wanted to try something different, or maybe I'm just missing something. Besides the design switch, some excellent budget cutting techniques were also enforced. I especially liked this one.

Not a very eventful episode. Mai breaks down from the pressure of past issues, Yuichi gets some cool points by cheering her up, and that's that.

Rushuna defeats Prince Armored Core(who was manipulated by Clown Man) with her patented drill shot then sends him to Boobsville for some R&R. You know, if I were a misguided villain on this show, I'd make it my civic duty to fight and lose to Rushuna in every episode.

I was expecting a little more activity from Honey vs Jill, but this was still a great finale.

I enjoyed these episodes even more than the first two. Slice of life rocks my house! And the OST, when it's released, may be the first I buy in quite a long while. The music is just excellent.

This time we get a segment devoted to Yakumo and her Xbox cat in between the usual Tenma and Harima wackiness. Even though she's voiced by the Mamiko, I still don't like Yakumo very much. Give me some emotion!

Suna goes one on one with a sniper and his little female apprentice Taiko, who's voiced by Chiwa Saitou! Yay~ Suna is of course victorious, and Taiko decides that he'll be her new teacher. Yay~ It doesn't show if he accepts her or not, though. He better!

Haduki tries to bite Kouhei again, fails, then goes out to bite someone else. Kouhei disapproves, and gets beat up by street punks for his trouble. Haduki saves! Then meganekko vampire Elfriede, who'd been spying on them earlier, reveals herself. Another entertaining episode. I don't like this new chick's chara design though, with her stringy ragdoll hair.

Convention time. Kanji buys loads of doujinshi and meets his first stuck-up jerk otaku. Decent episode, though the art was a little off. I also think the stuff with Harunobu hurting his hand went on longer than it needed to...

Best episode so far. I know that isn't saying much, but still. I'm mainly happy because the story this time didn't involve one of the girls getting a crush on some random dumbass.

Chiwa Saitou and Yuka Inokuchi guest voice a couple of stupid girls, one of whom gets pushed into a crater by the mysterious next door neighbor. Ichika of course uses her charm again to find and save her. How dare they give Chiwa such a dumb character! Insulting!

Himeko goes on a date with Souma to the amusement park. Things go well until Super Bishounen Tsubasa interrupts. Chikane should have let her jealousy show more instead of holding it all in like she did. It was wasted opportunity!

Nanoha visits her buddies at Purple Head Mansion then has a decent battle with Nana Mizuki's character Fate over a jewel seed in the surrounding forest. Fate has a British wand, lives in a glowing building right in the middle of the ghost town(no one notices of course), and is an emotionless robot(metaphorically) with deep personal problems. Not the type of character I was hoping for, but it's still a rival, and it's still Nana Mizuki!
