Now we get to meet Nao, the nice by day, naughty by night HiME that likes to abuse her powers for personal enjoyment. She's pretty cool, and I like her voice(Yuuka Nanri).

Rushuna meets the two remaining members of her soon to be complete gang, Touka and Mikan, at a huge bordello-ish place in the mountains, which Touka manages. I don't really like the little brat(she's a balloon user! balloons!?), but Touka's nice.

Suna battles the Fantastic Four for the sake of a water abundant village, and to get laid. The second one doesn't happen of course. This was an entertaining story, but I don't think it needed two episodes. Next week, Taiko returns! Yes!

The evil meteor pieces take over Yamato and he becomes a major villain. He rounds up the Saotome sisters and makes them dark sentai! Now this I like! But what I didn't like was that promised fanservice from last week's next episode preview wasn't shown at all! Specifically this. I don't care about her much but still, never promise fanservice then not deliver!

Some nice ero poses for Tenma this time. Itoko looked much better too. I found it odd that Yakumo didn't show up at all. Did she not notice that Tenma didn't come home from school in the first story?

The gang goes to Kyoto. Hikaru and Kaoru make their debut, Elfriede bites Kouhei, and Haiji takes on a new form. I like the new Haiji, she reminds me of chibi Maya from Tenten.

Saki joins the club after saving it from extinction. I hope she cosplays at some point.

Ichika's friend Sei confronts super spy Saya. Ichika witnesses the confrontation, which causes her confusion on top of even more depression. The music in this episode was really nice - it stood out to me a lot more than in previous eps for some reason.

I've always hated the bad boy who's really a good boy if you get to know him shtick. I haven't touched the manga so I don't know if that applies to Natsume, but it sure feels like it will. Oh well, as long as he doesn't cut into Hotaru antics too much, I can deal.

I liked the buddy bickering, though it was unexpected. I guess it was bound to happen early on since we only have 13 eps. The stock transformation sequence was also unexpected, as this ep had an overall sad tone, then here's this sequence with a whole minute of overly long uplifting material. It just felt unnecessary this time.

Chikane's mindset is getting worse and worse as she continues to think about Himeko and how hot she is all day. Let your feelings out! You'll feel much better, and most likely save the world, or something.

So Yukari Tamura is playing a humble mahou shoujo with Nanoha, and here she's playing a not so humble mahou shoujo with Midori. She's a cool character and all, but now that she's gotten to flesh out her personality more I kind of feel that Yukari wasn't the greatest choice for her VA. A lot of times her voice just doesn't fit the character at all.

Rushuna brings back the joy of laughter to a small village, then becomes a wanted woman! Some do-gooder she's turning out to be.

Yuu Asakawa joins the cast as school teacher Itoko Osakabe, who's also Harima's cousin. She's the cool, calm, and collective type, definitely a fitting role for Asakawa. I liked the flashback she got out of Harima of his first encounter with Tenma, explaining why he looks the way he does now. It's obviously for a stupid reason, but I still can't help feeling sorry for the guy.

Raggedy Ann takes an interest in Kouhei and Haduki gets jealous. Yay for catfights! The Look Forward to Next Time picture this week was drawn by Nobutaka Takagi, creator of one of my favorite series, Kokoro Toshokan. The picture is Haduki doing a cosplay of Kokoro, whom Chiwa Saitou also voiced in the anime.

Things are finally getting a little interesting. The Saotome sisters are getting much more airtime too. Now they just need the robot!
